Eagles +3 *****. Underdogs???? What??? Yes, I know the Eagles just lost Terrell Owens. However, there is a huge difference in quality between the Eagles and the rest of the NFC. The Eagles are possibly the best team in the league, let alone the conference. They are also the only team who would even make the playoffs if they had to play in the AFC -- such is the difference between the conferences this year. However, there is also a similar difference between the NFC in general and the NFC West -- the NFC West is just flat-out awful even in comparison to the rest of the conference, and the Rams, despite their record (which in itself is on the wrong side of mediocre), are hideous. So what we have here is one of the top teams in the league playing a team whose record has been inflated by both conference and division. Yes, the game is in St. Louis. Yes, the Eagles may rest some of their starters. But the Eagles' second team should be able to win this one, and it won't just be second teamers playing.

Did the Philadelphia coaches confirm they will be resting their starters?

The way I see it, Philly should play their starters because to check out how the team looks without T.Owens in the line up. On 3rd down and long, put D.Levans at running back, B.Westbrook in the slot and such formations. Use their tight ends more in pass routes etc ...

The Eagles defense should not take this game lightly, as they might meet this same Rams team in the playoffs. It would not be a good idea to sleepwalk thru this game.

The playoffs is one month away for the Eagles, they should stay sharp and play. Last year, Dallas took it easy in their season finale and lost, then they got blown out in their playoff game.
